2012 NFL Draft: Which Players Should New England Take?

Last season the New England Patriots drafted Nate Solder with the 17th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.  Solder dominated the 2011 Senior Bowl.  I thought Solder would have the better long term career than Dallas Cowboys top 10 pick Tyron Smith because of his pass blocking ability, size, along with the experience at left tackle that Solder had at Colorado.

With Matt Light likely to retire there is a chance that New England will move Nate Solder to left tackle to protect Tom Brady's blindside in 2012.  Solder played right tackle next to Matt Light in 2011.  The pass protection that Light and Solder provided for Tom Brady at times helped New England reach Super Bowl 46.  Sebastian Vulmer a 2009 2nd round pick was supposed to be Light's successor at one point.  With Solder's rookie campaign Vulmer will play right tackle and may even lose his job to Marcus Cannon down the line if another injury occurs with Vulmer.

I’m not sure I see a ton of difference between Branch and Curry. I’d like to interject some speed at LB. I think Devon Still, Zach Brown, Harrison Smith, Jamel Flemming, Mike Brewster, and Brandon Brooks is my ideal draft. But I like some of your guys too.
