2012 NFL Mock Draft: 5 Prospects The New Orleans Saints Should Consider With Their First Pick

As a result of the bounty program scandal the New Orleans Saints lost their 2nd round pick in this year’s NFL draft. However, the Saints still have their remaining picks and their first pick will be coming in the 3rd round. In the past I thought the Saints should draft a linebacker with their first pick but with the additions of David Hawthorne, Curtis Lofton, and Chris Chamberlain the Saints seemed pretty stacked at the linebacker position. With that said, I still think the Saints should draft some other players on the defensive end. Furthermore, with the loss of cornerback Leigh Torrence the Saints should definitely look for a corner in the draft and maybe with their first pick. Here is a look at some players that the Saints should consider drafting with their first pick:
