The New York Giants got some bad news this week when they found out Ahmad Bradshaw has a cracked bone in his foot. He does not need surgery, but it does mean he might miss this week’s important matchup against the New England Patriots.

It also means Brandon Jacobs has to put up or shut up.

Last week the bruiser complained to a magazine that he didn’t like how little he was involved in the offense. After a poor performance, he seemed to be more upset than usual.

But then he had a talk with his mother and his teammates, telling everyone “you’re going to see a change.”

“I talked to my wife and we’ve got to get it done. This is what I want to do. I had a talk with Deon Grant and Antrel Rolle, I talked to Ahmad and a lot of other guys. At the end of the day I’m playing for them. I don’t really care about anything else. I’m playing for them.”

Well now that Bradshaw will likely be out Sunday, you have your chance to prove it. We’ve heard this before, time to put up or shut up.
