Welcome to Behind Enemy Lines with myself, the New York Giants blogger for Rant Sports, who will be treading in to enemy territory to get the feelings of New England Patriots blogger Chris Ransom.

Chris and myself exchanged questions with one another to give our readers a taste of what the other team’s fans are feeling.

You can read my answers to Chris’ questions here.

Jeff Shull:  If Tom Brady wins it all, where does he rank among all time quarterbacks?

Chris Ransom: Tom Brady will be in the conversation to be the greatest quarterback of all time if New England wins this game. There still will be some skeptics with what Joe Montana plus Terry Bradshaw winning 4 rings.

JS: Do you have any faith in the Patriots secondary against the Giants trio of dynamic wide receivers?

CR: New England’s secondary has caught lightning in a bottle in the playoffs. Devin McCourty and Patrick Chung are both back at full health which is a huge plus for New England.

The Patriots faced Tebow in the divisional round. In the AFC Championship some Ravens penalties and late game luck worked in New England’s favor. The Giants have Eli Manning plus Nicks, Cruz, Manningham, and Ballard when healthy. That’s a pretty scary offense to clash against.

JS: Do you buy that the Giants have Tom Brady’s number?

CR: The Giants have a talented pass rush, Michael Boley, and a strong secondary. I feel like Brady can exploit the Giants defense if he gets enough time.

JS: Do you think the Giants will be able to run the ball at all, or is Vince Wilfork playing too well?

CR: Wilfork is playing well. I do think the Giants will have a lot of success running to the outside against New England’s outside linebackers. I really feel like the Giants can create some problems for New England by running to the outside to set up some play action passes.

JS:  What is your prediction for the game?

CR: I got New England winning 23 to 21. I think its really going to be a good game. New York’s pass rush will hold New England to field goals. In the end, I feel like New England will get enough scoring chances to prevail.

Thanks for taking the time Chris, but hopefully you’re prediction is wrong!
