Super Bowl XLVI : Rant Sports Writers Pick The New York Giants By a 2-1 Margin Over The New England Patriots
By a 10-5 count (2-to-1) Rant Sports predicts the New York Giants to defeat the New England Patriots in Indianapolis and claim their fourth Super Bowl.
This was based on an independent and non-partial question amongst the Rant Sports staff, based on the feedback and response, many—including myself—the general consensus among the RS staff is that the Giants have all the right elements to neutralize Tom Brady’s fast-paced attack.
New York’s pass rush along with Big Blue’s explosive wide receivers corps of Manningham, Cruz, Nicks and the solid play of Giants quarterback Eli Manning will be able to exploit New England’s defense in the end.
While this piece does not reflect the personal views of Windy City Network, as only 15 writers took the time to respond, it was a wonderful and profund experience to hear and sample thoughts on America’s biggest game from a diverse group of bloggers.
To those who offered their Super Bowl XLVI predictions, you have my eternal thanks.
And to those who read this, enjoy the game.

Some writers are missing I think.
Lars,
You are correct that “some” writers are missing, but if you go to the last slide where i stated, “as only 15 writers took the time to respond,” I would also state and infer that is just a fraction of RS writers and does not accurately reflect the site’s official pick for the game. The writer’s who did participate are the ones I’m referring too.
I’m not sure if you got the post in the Rant Sports Bloggers group asking all RS writers to participate, but it was there.
Hope this makes sense, and what is your SB pick?
New England 28-Giants 23. I won’t both with the rest.
