Entering its second game of the Olympics, Team USA started off slow, but yet again, a big second half proved to be the difference.

Team USA led by just 13 points at the half, but won the game in a 47-point blowout 110-63 victory over Team Tunishia. Six American players had double figures as it took a team effort to bring Team USA to a 2-0 record in Olympics.

At halftime up 46-33, Team USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski made the decision to start his reserve players Deron Williams, Russell Westbrook, Andre Iguodala, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love. They responded with a 21-3 run to take a 67-36 lead and never looked back.

“That was a great lift, man. That’s the best thing about this team, there’s no drop off,” said Kevin Durant. “We’ve got All-Stars off the bench. Those guys did a great job for us.”

Durant had a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds, but the New York Knicks’ players Anthony and Tyson Chandler also thrived in this game. Anthony tied Kevin Love with a team-high 16 points and shot a perfect six of six from the field including two three-pointers in just 12 minutes while Chandler played 15 minutes and had six points and six rebounds, shooting three of three from the field.

It was a great game for Team USA. They combined to shoot 61.4-percent from the field, making 10 of 25 three-pointers while defeating Team Tunishia in rebounds 41-29, assists 28-12 and turnovers 9-15.

Team USA (2-0) will play their next game on Thursday August 2 against Nigeria (1-1) at 5:15 p.m. ET on NBC.
