There was some great news on the Colts front as they reported to mini-camp today, as two of the team’s star players, Peyton Manning and Bob Sanders, both announced that they are recovering nicely from their respective injuries and offseason surgeries.
Manning is recovering from offseason neck surgery, while Sanders is recovering from a ruptured biceps injury that he suffered last November. Both players said that things are going well and they are ahead of schedule in recovering from their injuries/surgeries.
The Colts are also hoping that three other star players – Reggie Wayne, Robert Mathis, and Antoine Bethea – will report to the mini-camp. Wayne and Mathis want to renogiate their contracts, while Bethea hasn’t yet signed the Colts’ one-year tender offer.
All three players were Pro Bowl selections last season.
