NFL Jacksonville Jaguars

Over 12,000 fans gather at EverBank Field to watch the Jaguars Scrimmage

If last night’s scrimmage at EverBank Field is any indication of what’s in store for the 2010 season, then the Jacksonville Jaguars and the city of Jacksonville will have much to celebrate.

Thousands gathered last night to watch their 2010 Jacksonville Jaguars.  But, you could sense that it was far more than just a scrimmage.  These are the fans who have heard critics, national sports writers and national networks say that the Jaguars will be leaving the river city within a matter of time.  These are the fans who took it upon themselves to buy season tickets and encourage friends and family to do the same.  These are the fans who have bought into “Revive the Pride” and are proud members of Team Teal.

While it is still early and many things can happen, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the fans are a unified front.  You can expect opening day against the Broncos to be like a play-off atmosphere.  You can expect a full stadium, a hungry team, and a re-energized fan base.

There were a few plays and players who definitely stood out.  Continue reading below.
