Watered-down Carolina Panthers head to Baltimore

The Carolina Panthers will be heading up to Baltimore this evening to take on the Ravens. Thing is, you might not recognize many of the players. The Panthers lost several key players this offseason through free agency, Julius Peppers perhaps the biggest name of all.

Besides free agency, the Panthers have lost several players to injury in training camp. 11 players won’t even make the trip to Baltimore.

The Panthers have 4 quarterbacks on the roster and head coach John Fox told reporters that he expects to get all four action tonight with Matt Moore slated to get the start. Rookie QB Jimmy Clausen is excited to get on the field, telling reporters, “It’s going to be the first time live since college, so it’s going to be fun out there”.

Tonight’s game should help shed some light on just what the Panthers will have to work with this season. “There are probably 2–something guys I’ve never seen take a snap in NFL football. You have some of those guys every year from your draft class”,  We just have a few more this year, Fox commented to reporters.
