New Orleans Saints release DE McCray
The New Orleans Saints have released DE Bobby McCray according to Jason LaCanfora via Twitter. This offseason has been a carousel for Bobby McCray and the New Orleans Saints. On June 21st of this year, the New Orleans saints released McCray. Almost one month later, one July 22nd, Bobby McCray was re-signed with the New Orleans Saints.
McCray would have been entering his 7th year in the NFL. He was a 7th round draft pick in 2004 by the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he played 4 seasons. His best season as a player was 2006, when he recorded 35 tackles and 10 sacks.
He played for the the New Orleans Saints for the past two seasons, last year only recording 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
