Sam Bradford has officially been named the Rams’ Week 1 starter vs. Arizona
Two impressive starts were enough for St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo to name rookie No. 1 overall draft pick Sam Bradford the starting quarterback for Week 1.
Bradford is coming off a perfect performance against the Baltimore Ravens in the Rams’ final preseason game. He was 6-6 for 68 yards with 1 touchdown in one series, in a win versus the Ravens.
With Bradford as the starter, the Rams went 2-0 against AFC big guns New England and Baltimore. Granted, its only the preseason and the Ravens didn’t use any starters, but Bradford does give Rams fans some hope.
He will be thrown into the fire in Week 1 against the defending division champion Arizona Cardinals. Now, only time will tell how this decision plays out, but it has been made and the St. Louis Rams are officially Sam Bradford’s team.
