Rams Fantasy Update

By adameberlin

The 2010 NFL season starts tomorrow and its not too late to make some last minute fantasy football acquisitions, or get draft advice in some cases. The Rams recent trade for WR Mark Clayton brought an experienced WR to the Rams, something they badly needed. Coming to the Rams boosted Clayton’s fantasy status as well, being the No. 1 WR on a young squad. He might need a few weeks to get acquainted with Sam Bradford and the Rams system, but in most leagues he should be a FA pickup.

The acquisition of Clayton also helps out the rest of the Rams top fantasy players. Sam Bradford will now have an experienced WR to throw to, boosting his status and making him a solid backup. And bringing in a solid WR takes some of the load off Steven Jackson. A better passing attack means defenses will have to compensate for that, and not just focus on Jackson every play. So every top skill player on the Rams fantasy stock has risen, lets hope it will translate to a competitive season as well

The acquisition of WR Mark Clayton mean every Rams' fantasy stock is on the rise.
