On Wednesday, the NFL announced Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin was named Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Cleveland Browns.
In his first home game as a Raven, Boldin hauled in eight catches for 142 yards and three touchdowns to help his team win over their division rivals 24-17. Boldin joined James Lofton and Terrell Owens as the only players in NFL history to record three touchdowns in their first game at home with a new team. He also became the quickest player in NFL history to record 600 receptions (98 games).
The Ravens acquired Boldin during the offseason from the Arizona Cardinals to provide Joe Flacco with a reliable target in the passing game. He’s already crossed over 100 receiving yards twice this season and continues to prove his ability as a No. 1 wide receiver.
