The New England Patriots finished 9th on the latest Power Rankings from It’s the same spot they were at last weekend and rank second in the AFC East behind the New York Jets (7th). They also remain one spot ahead of the Miami Dolphins—who sit at No. 10.

Tom Brady and the Patriots barely managed to escape the Buffalo Bills last weekend as they ended up with a 38-80 win. Along with Brady’s solid performance (21 of 27 for 252 yards and three touchdowns), Randy Moss managed to finish with two receptions (both touchdowns) for 42 yards.

The Patriots are now 2-1 on the season and face a critical matchup against the Dolphins this weekend in Miami—where Brady is 3-5. With a tight race in the AFC East, the Patriots, Jets, and Dolphins are expected to cause some changes in the rankings after Week 4.
