There certainly isn’t any sophomore slump for New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez. In the New York Jets home opener against the Baltimore Ravens, Mark Sanchez played poorly, prompting questions to be asked if indeed he had progressed from last season or was he taking a step backwards. His play in the last three games is answering those questions.

Mark Sanchez, or “The Sanchize” as some call him has been as efficient at quarterback as they come in the NFL. Sanchez is now the only starting quarterback, other than Michael Vick in the NFL yet to throw an interception. Vick was limited in his action yesterday after suffering a rib injury early on for the Eagles.

The New York Jets are using Sanchez perfectly. He has only attempted 30 passes once in 4 games, they rely on their defense and their running game to win games for them. This is a quarterback who had only 12 touchdowns versus 20 interceptions last season and this season has 8 touchdowns and no interceptions. And now the rick get richer, as the New York Jets get WR Santonio Holmes back after he served his 4 game league imposed suspension as the Minnesota Vikings come to New York to play on Monday night against the Jets. The Jets are riding a 3 game win streak currently.
