Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver DeSean Jackson Leaves Game Against Atlanta Falcons Following Massive Hit

August 5, 2010: Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson (10) running sprints during training camp at Goodman Stadium on the campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Eagles’ Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson took a massive hit from Falcons’ cornerback Dunta Robinson on a pass early in the second quarter.

It appears that Robinson speared Jackson between the chin and the chest.

Both players remained down for several minutes before leaving the field with assistance from their team’s trainers.

Jackson, who scored the game’s only two touchdowns in the first quarter, will probably not return to the game.
