Cowboys Games May Not be Available for Dish Subscribers
For many Cowboys fans who subscribe to Dish Network, like me, the upcoming weekends may be less enjoyable. Dish is currently in a contract dispute with the company that pays for Fox cable channels. Fox Sports networks, FX Networks, and the Discovery Channel were all lost this month due to the dispute. The contract dispute also affects local Fox affiliates that carry NFL games every weekend, so Dallas fans may miss future Cowboys games. However, Dallas plays on ESPN, CBS, and NBC the next three weekends, so the dispute would not affect the Cowboys’ games until we play the Giants for the second time this year in Week 10 on November 11. I guess if the Cowboys’ game is unavailable on Veterans Day, Brad Sham will have a few extra listeners on the Cowboys radio network.
