Packers: Monday Practice
Jrlombardi:Injured players statuses for Vikings game.
According to coach McCarthy’s press conference:
- We will have an update on Driver’s thigh injury. “We’ll have all that information to you Wednesday.
- On other injured players: Tight end Andrew Quarless and cornerback Pat Lee are not quite ready to go full. “Pat (Lee, ankle) looked good. He practiced today. Andrew (Quarless, shoulder), we’re just being careful with him.” McCarthy added that plans were for defensive end Ryan Pickett (ankle) to return to full participation in practice Thursday.
- It would be difficult for Atari Bigby to win back his starting job at strong safety as long as Charlie Peprah continued to perform at a high level: “I would agree with that,” the coach said. “Charlie has played his best football he’s played as a Green Bay Packer. He’s done an excellent job. He’s played very well for us.”
