Detroit Lions seek divine intervention
The Detroit Lions are suffering through another disappointing season, but is it time to look for some divine intervention? Someone thinks so. Rev. Horace Sheffield III told television station WJBK-TV that the members of the New Destiny Baptist Church are going to surround Ford Field in prayer on Thanksgiving Day.
Sheffield told the station that “maybe it’s time to get God to help”. Perhaps a call to the Almighty on Turkey day might not be a bad idea. The Detroit Lions will be looking for all the help they can muster as they will be hosting the New England Patriots on a short week.
There is a very good chance that this game might get ugly very early.
