Mike Sims-Walker Doubtful for Sunday’s Game
The Jaguars listed wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker as doubtful on its official injury report for this Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
Sims-Walker injured his ankle in the first half of last week’s game against the Houston Texans, but returned to finish the game. He did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday this week, and was listed as a limited participant for Friday’s practice.
If Sims-Walker cannot play on Sunday, expect to see an expanded role for Tiquan Underwood and Kassim Osgood lining up opposite of Mike Thomas. There is also a chance we could preseason favorite John Matthews, who was recently elevated from the practice squad.
