Philadelphia Eagles' Cornerback Asante Samuel Will Be a Game-Time Decision for Tonight's Game Against the Houston Texans; Samuel Could Be the Difference Maker Against Andre Johnson
Star cornerback Asante Samuel will be a game-time decision for the Eagles’ game tonight against the Houston Texans.
Samuel sprained his knee on an interception against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football about two weeks ago. He missed last week’s game against the Chicago Bears, which the Eagles lost 31-26.
I think Samuel could be the key to tonight’s game, especially against superstar receiver Andre Johnson.
Johnson was in a fight with Titans’ cornerback Cortland Finnegan last week but was not suspended by the NFL. He was fined $25,000.
Samuel would probably be playing if the Eagles didn’t have a Thursday night game. He posted on his Twitter this morning that he is doing all he can to play tonight, but I do not think he will be ready to play.
I think he’ll dress but he will not play.
