Fox Commentator Tucker Carlson Retracts Comments About Thinking Michael Vick Should Be Executed

Last week, Fox commentator Tucker Carlson created national headlines when he publicly stated that he thinks Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick should be executed for killing dogs.

Today Carlson appeared back on Sean Hannity’s show. He had the following to say:

“Anybody who looks into how he mistreated these dogs and personally tortured them to death gets upset and I overspoke. I’m not comfortable with the death penalty under any circumstances. Of course I don’t think he should be executed.”

Carlson went on to say, “But I do think what he did is truly appalling.”

Carlson also added that he “has a lot of doubts” on Vick’s true intentions. He said that child molesters don’t get a second chance and the President was still wrong to praise Vick.

Tucker Carlson is a moron. How can you come on TV and apologize for saying someone should be killed and at the exact same time say a person (who has served time for his crime) does not deserve a second chance!

I said it before and I’ll say it again….Tucker Carlson is a hack who needs an additional fifteen minutes. He obviously is NOT a Christian and being paid whatever Fox is paying him means he is smart enough to know that you don’t overspeak in front of millions of viewers. I think this whole thing was a calculated effort to bring Mr. Carlson back into the limelight, which unfortunately it did. Alas, he will go away by the weekend and we can move forward. What an idiot.
