Pittsburgh Steelers consider adding seats to Heinz Field
The Pittsburgh Steelers are considering adding an additional 4,000 seats to Heinz Field. The Pittsburgh Stadium Authority has commissioned a $20,000 dollar study to investigate the feasibility of expansion. Steelers Co_owner Art Rooney has told officials that the Steelers have enough demand in order to fill the additional seats.
Since opening in 2001, every Steelers home game has been sold out. The additional seats would be placed in the south endzone.
