Titans safety Michael Griffin added to 2011 Pro Bowl roster
With Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed dealing with an injury, Tennessee Titans safety Michael Griffin was added to the 2011 Pro Bowl on Wednesday. This marks the second time in Griffin’s four-year career he’s been named to the Pro Bowl–with the other time being in 2008.
Griffin led the Titans this season with four interceptions to go along with two forced fumbles, 108 combined tackles and 12 passes defended. Tennessee selected Griffin with the 19th pick during the 2007 NFL Draft and he’s lived up to all of the hype as an effective safety after a stellar career at Texas. He’s yet to miss a game in his four years as a member of the Titans.
