Two players on the Philadelphia Eagles were named to the USA Today All-Joe Team.
The All-Joe Team is named after 14-year defensive lineman Joe Phillips of the Kansas City Chiefs. It honors the “unheralded prime performers” in the league.
Running back LeSean McCoy was named to the USA Today All-Joe Team.
McCoy rushed for 1080 yards and six touchdowns while catching 78 passes for 592 yards and two touchdowns.
Defensive tackle Antonio Dixon was also named to the team.
Dixon was plugged into the Eagles’ starting lineup in Week 5 and recorded 25 tackles and two sacks.
The Eagles’ run defense also improved by 50 yards per game in the final 12 weeks of the season.
