A pair of Washington Redskins players are on the mend and recovering nicely. KR Brandon Banks remains in the hospital after sustaining a knife would early Saturday morning and S LeRon Landry is recovering from wrist surgery.
Landry underwent wrist surgery earlier this month on February 4th in order to repair a dislocated wrist. Landry sustained the wrist injury early in the regular season but continued to play through the injury before ultimately being placed on the injured reserve list after sustaining an Achilles injury in December.
Banks remains in the hospital, recovering from knife wounds, but according to his agent, he should be released at some time within the next 24 hours. Banks’ agent, James Gould released this statement to the media.
“In response to the well wishes, many calls and concerns for Brandon Banks, he still remains in a local hospital for precautionary reasons and is expected to be released within 24 hours. He would like to thank everyone for their concerns”.
