Battle of the Big Apple: New York Jets vs. New York Giants Reportedly Set for Week 1

Thanks to an early report by my fellow writer at Rant Sports, Jon Presser of Jets Report, one huge matchup for the 2011 NFL season is apparently set to happen in Week 1.

The Battle at The Meadowlands between the Jets and Giants has been set for the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. It will be a Sunday Night Football showcase sure to have a moment of silence for those who lost their lives.

Since the terrible incident, the Giants have typically honored the New York City Fire Department, or FDNY, in the first home game of the season.

One memorable moment was watching Justin Tuck running out of the tunnel with an FDNY helmet on.

In the last meeting between the two teams, the Giants were clicking on all cylinders and the Jets were one of the worst teams in the league, finishing 4-12 on the season.

What a difference four years makes. Now, the Jets will no doubt be the favorite as they have made an appearance in the AFC Conference title game for two straight years under Rex Ryan.

They have high goals of winning a championship, but you better believe they want to be considered the kings of New York.

The Giants had better bring their A game.

Peyton Manning, Jimmy Fallon Talk To Cardboard Cutout Of Eli

Peyton Manning's appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' was nothing short of epic. Not only did Manning play 'Egg Russian Roulette' with Magic Johnson, but he and Fallon also had an amazing conversation with a cardboard cutout of his brother, Eli.

Eli Manning Has Interesting Reaction To Broncos' Super Bowl Win

Eli Manning was captured on video making an interesting face when the Denver Broncos cemented their Super Bowl 50 win. The Internet firmly believes Eli is upset that Peyton now has two rings just like he does, but this is simply an overreaction. Eli was clearly nervous throughout the game, and his odd facial expressions are more indicative of a sign of relief than anything else.
