The first thing that jumps out is that the NFL did the Jaguars a huge favor by giving them two home Monday Night Football games.  The Jaguars were unwatchable in their only MNF appearance last season, but it appears the NFL has tossed the Jaguars a life raft to assist in struggling ticket sales.

The Jaguars landed a third primetime game when they popped up on the NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football schedule against the Falcons in Atlanta.  The game in Atlanta will wrap up a brutal three games in 11 days stretch against projected playoff contenders.

Overall, the Jaguars schedule is much tougher than last year’s soft schedule that yielded an 8-8 record.  If they want to reach their goal of a division title in 2011 they will have to raise their game and prove it against the best of the NFL.
