Rant Sports NFL Draft Special: New York Jets on the Clock

On Monday, RantSports.com will be hosting the Rant Sports NFL Draft Special as the 2011 NFL Draft quickly approaches on Thursday April 28. Along with host Aaron Kirn, NFL Network Manager Dan Parzych and Director of Content Jonathan Carroll will provide analysis for all 32 picks in the first round of the draft.

    This will be an interesting draft.

    The first three rounds of the draft usually play out the way they were supposed to; the top ten guys are better than the next ten, those guys are better than the next ten and so on. In other words, from one pick to the next there’s not much difference, but each successive group of ten shows a big dropoff.

      Definitely agree, Devin. This could be one of the more interesting drafts in quite some time. Interesting work you’ve done there, I was especially surprised about 2006. The New York Jets had one of their great drafts in franchise history that year, but it seems not many other teams were quite as lucky.
