Who should Miami take at 15?
It’s that time of year again, time to see who Miami will put its hopes and dreams on to become the new face of the franchise.
But who do you want it to be?
Here are my 15 at 15, feel free to argue or post your top pick below. Note that I am a strong proponent of Miami trading back to try and get a 2nd round pick, so some of these may by high for 15, but not so high for say 28-30.
1. Mark Ingram, RB
2. Mike Pouncey, OG
3. Jake Locker, QB
4. Cameron Jordan, DE/OLB
5. Da’Quan Bowers, DE
6. Brandon Harris, CB
7. Mikel LeShoure, RB
8. Ryan Kerrigan, DE
9. Randall Cobb, WR
10. Marvin Austin, DT
11. D.J. Williams, TE
12. Danny Watkins, OG
13. Jon Baldwin, WR
14. Ryan Williams, RB
15. Justin Houston, OLB
This is never an exact science, but after watching the Bill Parcells special on ESPN, I believe Miami will go for line or Ingram and that’s about it. He said last year they really wanted to trade back to get a 2nd rounder, so don’t be surprised if they trade back a couple times tonight.
Also, here is a couple late round guys to keep an eye on when Miami comes back to pick: Kendall Hunter, RB Oklahoma State; Sam Acho, OLB, Texas; Greg Salas, WR, Hawaii; Andy Dalton, QB, TCU; and Jacquizz Rogers, RB, Oregon State.
