Philadelphia Eagles Have Highest Odds for Acquiring Plaxico Burress
According to the official odds on www.bodog.com, the Philadelphia Eagles have the highest odds for acquiring former New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress, who was released from prison on Monday after serving 20 months for possessing a loaded handgun in a nightclub.
Burress will be 34 years old by the start of the 2011 season and is already being talked about as one of the most sought after free agents, assuming the free agency period arrives.
The Eagles have the highest odds for acquiring Burress, at 3-2 odds. The New York Jets have the second highest odds, at 3-1.
The St. Louis Rams have 11-2 odds and the Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins each have 15-2 odds.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have 10-1 odds. The Chicago Bears have 12-1 odds. And so do the New York Giants, Plaxico’s former team.
