Philadelphia Eagles LB Akeem Jordan Arrested; Charged With Misdemeanor Assault and Battery

Add another one to the list of NFL players that have been arrested during the lockout after news broke out that Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Akeem Jordan was arrested over the weekend for his connection with an incident that took place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

According to Pete DeLea of DNROnline.com, Jordan was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault and battery on Sunday for an incident that took place in a parking lot on Evelyn Byrd Avenue. Jordan was released on Monday, but the details as to why he was arrested are still unknown.

Jordan, a former standout at James Madison University, has spent the last four seasons in Philadelphia and is coming off a 2010 season in which he recorded 26 tackles. Details of the incident will most likely be released in the next day or two–so be sure to check back to find out what happened with Jordan that led to his arrest.
