In a move that will probably shock the majority of Pittsburgh Steelers fans, linebacker James Harrison has taken his trash talking to a whole new level.
It’s not enough that he insulted the commissioner of the National Football League in an interview with Men’s Journal, stating: “If that man was on fire and I had to piss to put him out, I wouldn’t do it. I hate him and will never respect him.”
Harrison also added that Goodell is a “crook” and the “devil” and a “puppet” and a “dictator.”
Then he took to insulting his own teammate, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. His comments focused on Roethlisberger’s subpar performance in last year’s Super Bowl loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Harrison said: “Hey, at least throw a pick on their side of the field instead of asking the D to bail you out again. Or hand the ball off and stop trying to act like Peyton Manning. You ain’t that and you know it, man; you just get paid like he does.”
For what it’s worth, here are the statistics of James Harrison in the biggest game of the year: 1 tackle.
