Former Cowboys OT Alex Barron Signs With Saints
There’s one former player to sign with a new team the Dallas Cowboys will not miss. Offensive tackle Alex Barron agreed to terms with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday. A first-round draft pick by the St. Louis Rams, Barron’s 15 minutes of shame came in his first game as a Cowboy. Barron’s third holding penalty wiped out quarterback Tony Romo’s game-winning touchdown pass as time expired against the Washington Redskins in Week 1 of the 2010 season. Barron was one of two offensive tackles signed by the Saints on Wednesday; former Denver Bronco George Foster also agreed to terms with New Orleans.
