Mikel Leshoure Out For The Year
The Detroit Lions lose rookie RB Mikel Leshoure for the season after he tore his Achilles tendon in practice. Leshoure was a RB out of Illinois, drafted in the second round, and was being counted on to become a 1-2 punch with a quick shifty runner named Jahivd Best.
This is a tough loss for an organization on the rise, and could really hurt their ground attack this year. The Lions seem to have some issues staying healthy, and if they want to start making some noise in the NFC, staying healthy is number 1…right Matthew Stafford?
