Corner Back Tramon Williams Diagnosed with Bruised Shoulder
Starting cornerback Tramon Williams has suffered a bruised shoulder during the Packers first win of the season.
Mike McCarthy did not say that the injury was serious or that it would endanger significant playing time for the stand out corner. The injury will likely be day to day and it remains unclear whether or not Williams will play next week against the Carolina Panthers.
Were Williams to miss the game it is likely McCarthy will turn to the inconsistent but more experienced Jarrett Bush, rather than the young and more athletic Sam Shields. Hopefully this is an injury that can be healed in a matter of days as opposed to weeks.
