Free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens–who spent the 2010 season with the Cincinnati Bengals–claims he will be on a team within the next month after spending the last few months recovering from an ACL injury. However, it’s the recent news about a mysterious hospital visit that has everyone wondering what’s really going on with the wideout.
According to TMZ.com, Owens was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles last Thursday night and the police were called to the scene of his apartment. While Owens has been released from the hospital since the incident occurred, it’s still unknown as to what the actual reason was for him making the trip.
Whatever it was–the important thing is Owens appears to be fine and nothing serious happened from the incident. Even though everyone will be curious to hear about what happened–the bigger questions lingering the minds of football fans is whether or not Owens will suit up for a team during the 2011 season considering Week 6 is right around the corner and there seems to be little interest in the controversial wideout.
