NFL Miami Dolphins

When It Rains, It Pours

The hits keep coming in Miami for the Dolphins. After a humiliating defeat at home against the Denver Tebows, Matt Moore has been listed as day-to-day with a rib injury.  No problem, right?  Sage Rosenfels, the quarterback they signed after Chad Henne’s season ended, has been put on injured reserve with a blood disorder that requires rest.  Something must have fallen through the cracks when he underwent his physical.  That seems like a pretty big miscue on the Miami Dolphins medical staff if you ask me.  “When I first joined the Dolphins, all tests showed that I was healthy and ready to go.  But after practicing for a few weeks, especially in the heat, some  new indications made it obvious that I need to rest and allow my body to regain all requisite strength,” Rosenfels told reporters.

Enter JP Losman.  Losman last completed a pass in 2008 with the Buffalo Bills.  Losman has thrown 33 touchdowns and 34 interceptions in his far from illustrious career.  Moore has not been ruled out for Sunday, but had the Dolphins not signed anyone, they wouldn’t have an option at quarterback.  That doesn’t actually sound that bad the way this season has gone.

The “Suck for Luck” campaign is in full effect.  The Dolphins are in a dead heat with Indianapolis for who can be worse.  The Dolphins will travel to New Jersey this weekend to face the New York Giants.
