Kevin Kolb’s status for sunday still uncertain
Will Kevin Kolb start against his former team? The answer to this question remains to be unseen, as he has not practiced since being diagnosed with the turf toe injury he received in the game against the Ravens. Ken Whisenhunt thinks he could play without the practice, but would like him to get a few reps in. It appears that whom ever gets the start at quarterback may not know until Sunday.
Kolb is not the only Cardinal to be suffering from an injury right now. Linebacker Paris Lenon (groin) and fullback Anthony Sherman (ankle) were upgraded to limited status. The depth at cornerback may be strained a little bit more this weekend as A.J. Jefferson was added to the injury report with foot injury, he was limited in practice. The positive to come out of this is the status of cornerback Michael Adams, who was carted off the field Sunday with a neck injury, is showing no ill effects from the injury and has been changed to full staus.
The team has one more day of practice before flying out to the City of Brotherly Love.
