Sparano to finish the year as Dolphins Coach
It seems as though Tony Sparano will survive as Miami Dolphins coach for at least another 4 weeks. The Miami Herald is reporting that a decision regarding Sparano’s position with the Dolphins, will not be made until after the season….It could come immediately after the season, but it appears it will wait until then.
According to a source within the organization, Sparano will probably need to go 8-8 to have a chance to coach the Dolphins in 2012 and beyond. Another 7-9 season isn’t going to cut it….nor should it. The first challenge for Sparano and the Dolphins will come on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Dolphins then travel to Buffalo and to New England to take on the Bills and Patriots, respectively. The Dolphins end the season at home, taking on the New York Jets.
Can Sparano win all 4 of those games? Only 2 appear to be against playoff caliber teams? Time will tell, but time could also be running out on Coach Sparano……tick tock…….
