Baltimore Ravens are AFC North Champs
The Baltimore Ravens clinched their first AFC North division title since 2006 with Sunday’s 24-16 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. This is Baltimore’s third AFC North Championship. The Ravens victory also sealed the Ravens position as the #2 seed in the AFC playoffs and ensured the franchise of a home playoff game. The NFL announced that Baltimore will play on Sunday January 15th at 1 PM with the opponent to be determined. Baltimore has not hosted a playoff game since a January 2007 loss to Indianapolis in the Divisional round.
The victory over Cincinnati also gave the Ravens a clean sweep of AFC North opponents. Baltimore went undefeated
(6-0) in the division for the first time in team history.
The Ravens could play host to either Cincinnati or Pittsburgh on January 15th. The Bengals will travel to Houston to face the Texans in the Wild Card round while the Steelers will face the Tim Tebow led Broncos in Denver.
