Body of Michael Philbin, Joe Philbin’s Son, Found in Fox River
Somber news to pass along today. Michael Philbin, the 21 year old son of Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin, was found in the Fox River today. Philbin had vanished early Sunday morning after visiting friends in Oskosh.
This news is much more important than Green Bay’s upcoming game with the New York Giants on Sunday. Family will always become before football and football is the hardest thing to focus on for Philbin and the Packers. Packers players have took to Twitter to express condolences for Philbin’s loss, as he is currently at home with his family.
Please keep the Philbin family in your prayers. Losing a kid can be devastating and I hope that Joe doesn’t rush back to work before taking the proper time to recover.
