Tampa Bay Buccaneers Release Dead Weight Albert Haynesworth
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have officially released DT Albert Haynesworth and the $6.7 million dollar salary they would have had to pay for him. In the 6 games Haynesworth played in with the Buccaneers he amassed 20 tackles with zero sacks. While the move is a no brainer for the Bucs, it does leave them a body short at the already thin DT position. Old stand bye Jovan Haye, who was signed at the end of the season and is a free agent becomes that much more important of a signing along with Michael Bennett.
