The Jacksonville Jaguars need to find quarterback Blaine Gabbert some reliable targets to throw the ball to this offseason.
Apparently the first wide receiver the Jaguars are targeting in free agency is Laurent Robinson.
Robinson is expected to be in Jacksonville Tuesday night making his first free agent visit. His value increased after catching 54 passes for 858 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Dallas Cowboys last season.
At 6’2″ and 194 pounds, Robinson would provide some much needed size to the Jaguars receiving corps. Another important factor is that he will only be 27 years old going into the 2012 season, so he fits the Gene Smith mold of acquiring free agent talent that is just entering the prime of their careers.
The Jaguars are not the only suitors for Robinson, however. There have been reports of interest in Robinson from his old team, the Cowboys, as well as the Arizona Cardinals and San Diego Chargers.
