New Orleans Saints Resign Quarterback Chase Daniel
New Orleans Saints general manager, Mickey Loomis, announced on Monday that the New Orleans Saints resigned quarterback Chase Daniel. Drew Brees’ backup was signed to a one year contract and will continue to be the number two quarterback for the Saints.
Daniel sees most of his action at quarterback during the preseason but in the regular season he is the holder for field goals and extra points. Daniel is a former Heisman Trophy finalist and he has career totals of 6 completions on 8 attempts (75%) with a QB rating of 88 in the 29 games he has played.
