New York Giants Re-Sign David Carr, Keep Worthy Backup to Eli Manning

The New York Giants have re-signed free agent QB David Carr, despite him getting offers from multiple teams according to sources.

This will be Carr’s fourth season with the Giants. He spent 2008-2009 with the Giants, a one year stint with the 49ers, then returned to be Eli Manning’s backup in 2011.

God forbid anything happened to Eli, I feel comfortable that Carr could weather the storm. Obviously there would no championship aspirations, but he played well in the regular season when he got his opportunities.

***Update***

Carr’s deal is a one year deal according to Ralph Vacchiano of the NY Daily News.

Eli Manning Has Interesting Reaction To Broncos' Super Bowl Win

Eli Manning was captured on video making an interesting face when the Denver Broncos cemented their Super Bowl 50 win. The Internet firmly believes Eli is upset that Peyton now has two rings just like he does, but this is simply an overreaction. Eli was clearly nervous throughout the game, and his odd facial expressions are more indicative of a sign of relief than anything else.
