The signing is official, now it’s time to get the jersey.
With Mario Williams officially in the fold for Buffalo, fans are already planning on when they can buy their new Mario Williams Bills jersey, but the question remains, what number that will be?
While Williams has spent his entire NFL career wearing number #90 for the Houston Texans, that number is currently held by Buffalo Bills Chris Kelsay.
Bills CEO Russ Brandon was posed that question on WGR Sportsradio 550 in Buffalo and had this to say, “You know how that goes, the vets take care of that. I’m sure Chris and Mario are having some discussions about how that’s going to work out.”
Brandon also mentioned that there is no timetable on getting the number situation figured out for jerseys, adding “We’ll let those guys work at it and look at those things on the shelves later.”
Looks like Bills fans may have to wait a little longer to get their new jerseys, do you care what number the Williams jersey is? And are you going to get one?
