Philadelphia Eagles 2012 Preseason Schedule Released

By Bryn Swartz

The National Football League has officially released its preseason schedules for the 2012 season.

The Philadelphia Eagles will play four AFC teams: the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New England Patriots, the Cleveland Browns, and the New York Jets.

The Steelers’ game will be on Thursday, August 9th at 7:30 p.m. on 6ABC. The Patriots game is in New England on Monday, August 20th at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN. The Eagles play the Browns in Cleveland just four days later, on Friday, August 24th at 7:30 p.m. on 6ABC. The final preseason game will be against the Jets on Thursday, August 30th, with the time to be announced.

Last year, the Eagles played three of the same four teams: Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and New York. They played Baltimore, which will be replaced by the Patriots this season.

The big calling card for Eagles fans will be when they host the Jets in the fourth game and newly acquired quarterback Tim Tebow comes to town (although the Jets may not play Tebow because it’s the final preseason game).
