The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have selected Mark Barron. Barron was the best safety in the draft, but I can honestly say I’m a little surprised with the move. The Bucs definitely needed to shore up their defense, but I figured they’d go with a linebacker. This is what makes the NFL draft great because the public just doesn’t know what a team is thinking.
The Bucs plan on rebounding in 2012, and selecting Mark Barron is a good start at doing so. If Barron brings his hard hitting ability, the Bucs are going to be a much better team. Can’t wait!
