Miami Dolphins to Appear on HBO's Hard Knocks

By Dan Parzych

With training camp right around the corner, HBO has finally found a team to appear on the 2012 edition of the popular show Hard Knocks–the Miami Dolphins.

The network announced on Tuesday how the Dolphins will appear on the hit series that is set to debut on August 7. For those of you that are familiar, Hard Knocks has become quite the popular show over the years as they follow one specific team through their journey of training camp, but HBO was forced to skip a series for the 2011 season due to the lockout.

While this has to be a sign of relief for HBO considering how many teams turned down to appear on the show, it’s difficult to wonder where the network will find excitement with this Miami team. Other than the battle at quarterback between rookie Ryan Tannehill, David Garrard, and Matt Moore, there really isn’t much excitement on Miami’s roster.

As sad as it sounds, the most exciting thing to keep an eye on other than the quarterback battle is whether or not Reggie Bush has any chance of taking home the rushing title he hopes to obtain during the 2012 season. The running back has high expectations for himself after breaking the 1,000-yard mark in rushing yards for the first time ever in 2011–which means Bush’s goal may be a bit extreme.
